While working on my PhD in Building Science, I performed energy audits on over 50 buildings using BMS data to determine if existing commercial buildings could be retrofit to achieve Net Zero Energy. As a Building Scientist at Beca, I knew many of our customers were wasting 20-30% of their energy because their building’s HVAC systems were not optimised.
