We also work together to build new products, and I guide their project management as well as integration of blockchain solutions into existing processes.A few highlights from my blockchain work include:● Training a client’s 25-person team on programming using blockchain, creating tokens on Ethereum, and building smart contracts● Establishing a cryptocurrency exchange for institutional buyers for a financial services firm● Crafting a supply chain tracking system leveraging blockchain and IoT technology, which is providing insights into food production and ingredient lifecycles, and could be leveraged in public health and safety in the future ● Creating a SaaS blockchain document verification system using homomorphic encryption to support international post-secondary institutions with verifying school credentialsIn addition to this, I educate my clients on the possibilities of blockchain, and share much of my understanding via several thought-leadership articles I’ve written on Medium (link below).Also, I’ve proposed a new Ethereum token standard for digital assets, ERC-1190, which will provide a solution for creative and commercial license owners. ERC-1190 has garnered considerable media visibility and traction.

I founded and operated Denver Hill, an international consultancy that sourced and secured financing for resource projects around the world. Working closely with private investors and investor firms, I facilitated the financing of projects in mining, energy, coal, steel, iron, agriculture, and offshore services.Client Highlights● Attained between $5M and $60M in financing per project● Pioneered exporting coal from Illinois to Asia, a route that was the first of its kind and is now a multi-billion-dollar sector● Identified an alternative route to transport steel and iron ore across Africa via the Ivory Coast● Hosted a trade delegation of South Korean, Japanese, and Indian private businesses in Ethiopia and Botswana to explore potential business opportunities in the region. This resulted in the opening of a steel mill in Ethiopia, an IT call center in Botswana, and various agriculture exports.

I started Silver Sky Data to digitize, compile, and categorize 50+ years of historical and future economic data from rural areas of India and Africa, which achievements including:● Digitizing data that enabled economic research and analysis of emerging markets● Developing a database which provided clients with the ability to monitor trends in international trade, finance, policy, and technologyI sold our research and data to a private economics foundation in the US.It was through my work at Silver Sky Data that I came to realize there was huge business opportunity in technology, digital, and data, and I took the time to really dive into it and learn all I could. And that’s what brought me to blockchain.

While in Africa for my work with resource projects, I had the opportunity to explore many of the rural areas, where I noticed that African farms were producing great crops but having difficulty selling what they produced.This led to me launching and developing Atari Systems, a company that connected rural African farms with international agriculture traders, with results including:● Facilitating up to $15M in crop sales each year ● Growing the roster of farms to 3,000● Creating a procurement tool that reduced traders’ costs by an average of 15%● Building a data warehouse which stored information on farms, as well as conditions such as soil quality, rain fall, altitude, temperature, and sunlight● Securing crop insurance for the farmers, something that had never been done beforeI successfully sold this company to a large agricultural enterprise in Dubai.
