I am a transportation engineer with 10 years of experience in Transportation Planning, Traffic Engineering, and Travel Demand Modeling. I have worked with travel demand model and simulation software packages such as Cube, TransCAD, TransModeler, Aimsun, VISUM and VISSIM. I can perform data mining and data analysis with GIS, and can carry statistical analysis with R. My area of expertise includes utilizing Dynamic Traffic Assignment (DTA), iterative supply/demand calibration and conversion between and combining models with different levels of fidelity (macro-meso-micro)I have TXDOT precertification to work on subarea/corridor planning, feasibility studies, traffic engineering studies, traffic signal timing, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS)

My dissertation focused on dynamic traffic assignment (DTA) and its applications as part of transportation planning platforms, especially for traffic and revenue studies.During my PhD training, I gained a deep understanding of DTA’s underlying theories, the potential and limitations of different DTA tools, the iterative calibration of supply and demand in such models, combining DTA with macroscopic and microscopic-level models, and preparing data to support DTA applications.I also developed insights regarding route choice models, willingness to pay, value of time, and value of reliability.I validated, post processed and analyzed extensive ITS data as part of my model validation/calibration.
