Oonee is building the next generation of urban infrastructure for bikes and scooters

I oversee customer services and quality assurance as the service manager for the Fulton Mall Improvement Association, the business improvement district for the third busiest retail district in New York City. My role, from a daily operations perspective, extends to the entire Downtown Brooklyn community, where I oversee quality assurance and public space management from a ground level. This largely translates into managing the Partnership's various contractors (i.e. sanitation, landscaping, maintenance & repair etc), working with city government agencies, and ensuring that our services continue to be delivered at a high quality so that Downtown Brooklyn runs smoothly everyday. My work also includes data management and analysis of quality assurance metrics within Downtown Brooklyn's three business improvement districts.More recently, I have completed several special projects for the Partnership, including a $100,000 roll down gate replacement and facade improvement project that was funded through a New York State HCR grant.

I work closely with the Urban Ambassadors, a program I helped create as a CORO Fellow. Specifically, I work on communications projects, college counseling, and curriculum development. I also assists with event planning and other tasks at the Division of Equity & Access.My specific projects included:1) Recruiting and admitting a new cohort of Urban Ambassadors (roughly doubling the program's size)2) Overseeing the development of the Urban Ambassadors website and social media properties.3) Overseeing the development of the Division's website.4) Creating the Division's quarterly newsletter.5) Creating a general information packet and other marketing documents for the Urban Ambassadors6) Creating unique college counseling packets for each student and conducting college counseling conversations around said packets.

Advised and crafted social media strategies for multiple companies including organizations, campaigns and celebrities. Also worked as an assistant to the team leader, co-ordinating schedules and calendars.

The Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs is a full-time, nine month, graduate-level experiential leadership training program that prepares diverse, talented and committed individuals for effective and ethical leadership in the public affairs arena. Unconventional by traditional academic standards, the Fellows Program is rigorous and demanding, an unparalleled opportunity for personal and professional growth.

I worked with NYC & Company on the small (but extremely busy) government relations team. Among other things, I served as the point person for the board nomination process. Additionally, I also worked to strategically frame the efforts of the company in a manner that was most suitable for elected officials.

I worked with multiple stakeholders in the Washington Heights area to develop an impact study that found ways to mitigate the difficulties behind the relocation of a large middle and high school.The end result was a comprehensive report that detailed some of the challenges, as well as solutions to those challenges.

I worked with members of the Bloomberg staff to revise contracts for negotiations with potential clients.

I worked with another member of the political department to organize, from scratch, a major legislative breakfast event designed to educate elected officials in the hundson valley about the policy agenda of 32BJ

I worked with members of the Division for Equity and access to design and implement a mission, ethos and curriculum for the Urban Ambassadors. Ultimately, I produced a 40 page programmatic framework designed to serve as a roadmap for community based organizations and the department going forward.

The Tufts Media Advocacy Board is a collaborative trade organization for student publications at Tufts University. My role as chairman included working with university administrators on relocating the main computer laboratory, grant applications to the student government, and the hiring the public editor, the university's ombudsman.

For the Summer, I am helping the Tufts Fund develop a coordinated and strategic approach to social media channels. This includes performing an in depth landscape analysis of other institutions companies and non-profits.

The Tufts Roundtable is a multimedia group at Tufts University. In late 2010 we launched university wide blogging platform called the Roundtable Commons (www.trcommons.org). In addition we have a quarterly magazine and a audiovisual production unit.

I Worked with program executive Aaron Dworkin and his assistant Emily Martinez to develop a curriculum high school transition curriculum for a nation-wide after school program of more than 70,000 students. Directly authored a section on college awareness. Since then, many of my sections are now part of the curriculum.

I was a field organizer for the Obama campaign in a pivotal swing state. I registered hundreds of voters to help meet the campaign's goal of 100,000 new voters in North Carolina that year
