With postgraduate degrees in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Peshawar, complemented by an International Studies internship at the School of Politics, North Carolina State University (NCSU) USA. Currently I am serving as the Deputy Director of Gender and Social Inclusion at the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). I lead ECP’s efforts to ensure that Pakistan's electoral process is not only free, fair, and impartial but also inclusive. In this capacity, I strive to create an environment conducive to the exercise of voting rights for all eligible citizens, including those from marginalised communities such as women, transgender individuals, persons with special abilities (PWDs), and religious minorities, throughout the electoral cycle. In my previous role as a Project Manager at the Khadim ul Khalaq Foundation (KKF), a community-based organisation, I spearheaded the planning, design, and implementation of programs aimed at promoting peace through critical thinking in erstwhile tribal areas of Pakistan. During my tenure at the National Democratic Institute (NDI) Pakistan, spanning seven years, I held various leadership roles and successfully implemented projects that contributed to strengthening Pakistan's democracy, fostering equal participation of all citizens irrespective of gender, race, caste, or creed. My involvement in significant programs such as the Political Parties Development Program (PPDP) (USAID-DRl) and Moving Forward FATA Reforms Agenda (BHC-UK) underscored my commitment to impactful initiatives. At NDI, I provided research, policy analysis, and development of information, education, and communication (IEC) materials, training modules, and technical assistance to political parties, civil society, government departments, and parliament in Pakistan. Furthermore, I served as the FATA Parliamentary Associate at NDI, provided assistance to Members of Parliament (MPs) from Pakistan's tribal areas in conducting legislative affairs and constituent relations. I also worked as Lecturer of Political Science and International Relations at Malaly University, Kandahar, Afghanistan. Over the years, I have honed transferable skills and gained expertise in Pakistan's constitutional and governance system, legislative affairs, political parties, training delivery, report writing, policy development and analysis, community outreach, elections management and processes, and media and public outreach.I also contribute to @Naya Daur, Frontier Post, and Daily Shahbaz
