+ Was involved in the Structural and Thermal analysis of power inverter of an Electric Vehicle.+ Due to high power dissipating components present, high amount of heat was being generated in the PCB, which lead to continual failure of the power inverter.+ Hence active and passive techniques of cooling were tried out and active cooling was chosen to be the best solution for managing the heat generation of the power inverter.+ Thermal Analysis was done on FEMAP software (Siemens) and the structural and modal analysis was carried out in ANSYS.+ Was also involved in the design of the Regenerative Braking System of the EV, wherein a robust design was made to reuse the kinetic energy of the vehicle,generated during braking, and convert it into electric energy back into the battery.+ Various iterations were carried out, where supercapacitors were also considered and tried out to facilitate auxiliary powering of the electrical accessories in the car.

+ Led the team to 'Formula Student Germany', an international formula student design competition held at Hockenheimring Circuit, Germany. This was the first time our team was participating in an international event.+ Presented the 'Business plan' of the team as part of the event at FS-Germany and won several accolades and appreciation for the novel conception and in-depth details put forth in the presentation+ Was responsible for roping in sponsors for the team to participate in Formula Student Germany. The 2016 team had about 25 sponsor companies sponsoring Pegasus Racing, amounting to about Rs.30 lakhs,including Logisitcs.+ Was responsible for organizing team meetings in order to develop interaction and channelize knowledge flow within the team.+ Designed a process timeline Gantt chart to utilize time efficiently between design and fabrication.+ Was responsible for procurement of materials and components, that had to be imported from various parts of the globe such as USA, UK and Germany.

+Was exposed to knowledge exchange between various departments of the company and had to adhere to strict deadlines , as part of the project.+ Analyzing the cause of failure of the component in study, researching and finding an alternative material grade for the component for higher durability was the project deliverable.+ Studied about various material grades and zeroed in on a grade of rubber that would suit the required function.+ Was also involved in minor design changes to facilitate lesser wear of the component.+ Did a comparative study between vehicles of different segments and presented a detailed technical report, implying the changes in properties that are to be carried out for each vehicle segment.
