Considering the influence of impaired mobility on health and quality of everyday life and the importance of active urban mobility, my research plan cover initiatives to improve mobility. I employ model-based design, virtual and hardware-in-loop simulations, along with field and lab experiments to gain a better understanding of human movement and develop biomechatronic assistive devices, safe active mobility solutions, and injury prevention systems.
