Alcatel-Lucent, Islamabad, Pakistan -- (Sep’ 2007 to Jan’ 2016)Project Manager – ContractsAssisted PMO for the preparation of project cash flow and project budget, also do support PMO in reviewing the variation/corrective measures to control the cost of Project My core responsibility were the contractual correspondence with customer and negotiation of contract terms and conditions with customer, preparation and processing of changes in orders in form of amendment and/or supplements, negotiation with customer regarding extra work which are beyond contractual scope, prepare report of liquidated damage cases and do negotiate those with customer, finalization of amendments under contract including price negotiations.I was also responsible for timely issuance of acceptance certificates/invoices at agreed milestone under contract, coordinate with ROM and his team to keep update regarding services and equipment deployment as per contractual terms & conditions and for the timely invoicing and reconciliation of the services and equipment deployment records.Follow up and record keeping of BG (Bank Guarantees) and PB (Performance Bonds) expires, releasing & renewals are also my responsibility, BGs/PBs are presented to customer against advance received from customer for every project/purchase order (PO) as per terms & conditionsI do assist account and pre-sales teams during bidding stage for minimizing risks in contractual terms & condition, and ensuring for the better cash flow while finalization of contract implementation and acceptances of network, review all terms and conditions of contracts and give feedback to account and pre-sales teams to protect interest of the company.In addition to above responsibilities I’m also supervising a team which is documenting records of the project i.e. PAT documents, FAT documents, FAC documents, BOQs, Advance Bank Guarantees, Performance Bonds, and all other project related docs.

Established, Organized and Managed a Team of Mobile Tower Installation Engineers for a startup telecom services company serving the largest GSM operator (STC) in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Areas of primary responsibilities included installation of Shelters, Air-conditioning of the premises, Electricity control systems, BTS and Microwave devices including cabling between shelters & towers for both electrical and communication links.Supervised installation and maintenance services for (900 and 1800 band) GSM Antennas as well as Aviation Obstruction Lights for the towers and cabling of GSM Telephone Exchanges.Organized and facilitated Re-homing and Re-balancing activities of BSCs (Base Station Controllers) and MSCs (Mobile Switching Centers) by deploying a small team of experts intelligently to meat aggressive timelines set by the customer (STC).Planned and coordinated company office expansion and renovation project to successfully accommodate increasing number of employees and work load. Provided input and support during organization structure creation initially and was through out involved in the talent search and new employee hiring process.
