As a Medical Assistant in a concierge practice I am responsible to provide high quality personalized patient care and excellent customer service in a professional environment.Responsibilities included but not limited to: • Rooming patients, taking vitals, charting, update patient’s file in EMR system • Setting up room for procedures, and assisting physician • Performing venipuncture, injections and various diagnostic procedures • Obtain medical record from hospital and other doctors office • Obtain prior authorization for necessary procedures, imaging and medications • Ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance of all facilities, exam rooms and equipment

Responsible for performing administrative and clinical tasks to support the work of physicians and other health professionals. Also in charge of assisting physicians in providing primary health care to patients and in the management of patient care. Responsibilities included, but not limited to: • Checking patients in/out, rooming patients, charting, taking vitals • Record patient data into EMR system • Setting up room for procedures, and assisting physician • Preparing Pre-op charts prior to surgery • Obtaining Pre-op testing reports from PCPs and forwarding to surgery centers • Obtain Insurance authorization • Triage phone calls
