• Managing, personal and professional, the Technical Department including 6 sub-departments: Mechanical maintenance, Electrical & Control maintenance, Engineering, Technical warehouse, Utilities and Maintenance planning. • Multidisciplinary management of 50 employees (managers, technicians and engineers). • Develop annual capital budget and expense budget maintenance.• Prepare investment requests by determining the best equipment design or facility layout, developing estimates and provide justification for the expenditure.• Prepare bid packages, worth with Purchasing on contracts, and manage contractor activities.• Develop sound and cost effective solutions to problems facing the operations team. Assess the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering solutions to include serving as the liaison with engineering consulting service and vendors.• Maintain plant in a safe and productive state to ensure compliance with health and safety standards in order to achieve maximum productivity.• Coordinate engineering/maintenance resources in support of the achievement of plant utilization, yield, quality, output and safety goals.• Develop and maintain an effective engineering/maintenance organization by providing proactive leadership, direction, coaching and human resource development.• Observe and evaluate plant operations with the objective of improving operating methods and eliminating production problems• Provide engineering support to maintain, after, or curtail operations during emergencies.

• Manage multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity and deliver projects on schedule, and within budget.• Work with the Management on project proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules as well as contribute to project estimation processes.• Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to the project, including subcontractor monitoring (local and worldwide).• Managing all aspects of business and related projects including project communications, project status reports, issues management and risk mitigation.

• Mange projects in the Defense division.• Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project.

Leading and managing complicated field tests to confirm compatibility of military systems with required performance and safety.Define test criteria for performance shell verifications.Conduct analytical calculations to approve safety anchoring points.
