My position as Gnomon Copy is first and foremost to drive customer service and satisfaction. I manage two stores in the Upper Valley. I work to lead our team to give our print customers a fantastic customer experience will offering the customer a total print solution. I work directly with the customer and employee to troubleshoot, schedule, produce, finish and deliver print jobs back the our customers on time and at the highest quality. While doing this I also work directly with a number of higher volume customers to give the highest level of service and quality I can. I schedule employees work and time-off schedule as well as assist the owner with equipment purchases. I have the ability to wear many different hats at Gnomon Copy. I do design work for the core customers that I maintain as well as any customers that need quick design work when our in-house graphic designer us not available. I open and close the stores when needed and assist the owner in some parts of the financial process within the stores. I strive to exceed our financial and customer service goals on a daily basis. Quoting is another one of my hats at Gnomon Copy. I handle the majority of all quotes and am responsible for quote follow-up and devising ways to win all quotes. I am involved in the process of hiring, repremanding and terminationing employees when necessary.

Hard Copy was a division of Gnomon Copy in Burlington, Vermont. I did a start-up print center in downtown Burlington with the owner of Gnomon Copy after only a couple years of service. We entered a very competive market with Kinkos and MBE just around the corner. At the beginning I drove business by going door to door with flowers and a specialized business promotion to get my foothold in the business environment. From the begin the business and customers enjoyed e level of service, quality and attention I gave each of them. I ran the print center on my own for a couple of months before we had to hire a part-timer to aid with our business success. A few months later we turn the part-time position into full-time. I was responsible for all financial accounting, recording, sales deposits, reporting to the owner and employee scheduling and supervision. I was also responsible for creating marketing relationships, customer growth ideas and promotion execution. I was also responsible for all print production and customer service/retention coming out of the store. I was in the store everyday from opening to close and my hard work and dedication prompted the owner to bring me back to Gnomon Copy to run his two locations in the Upper Valley as General Manager. We sold Hard Copy in 2001.
