Steve Harper is a graduate of the Royal College of Art, London, in Automotive Design. He also is a qualified Automotive Engineer with over 40 years experience of working for many of the major automotive and vehicle manufacturers. He has often been described as a ”Futurist Visionary”, and has experience of working in many parts of the World including throughout Europe, plus, Sweden, Malaysia, Thailand, Brazil, Indonesia the US and China. He was the founder of the Car Designer & Modellers Group here on LinkedIn, which has over 8700 followers. With a portfolio of over 30 vehicles to his name, including the FORD Escort RS Cosworth, VOLVO S60R/V70R, the MGF concept, he is featured in Wikipedia, he has been the Chief Designer for Volvo Cars in Sweden for 8 years, as well assisting the creation of Geely Design in Europe and China. He was more recently the Head of Creative at Proton Design in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Steve Harper created his own International Design & Engineering Design Consultancy, in 1993, which has specialized in bringing 'Concepts to Reality'.
