Purpose - To develop and deliver a Human Resource strategy which aligns with the overall company vision.• Drive elements of the company's strategic planning and organizational development.• Provide leadership to the Human Resources team members (Portfolio includes Human Resources, Learning & Development, Payroll and Safety) through effective performance management and daily mentorship.• Develop and implement Human Resource metrics tied to the Balanced Scorecard.• Lead the strategic design, development and implementation of all people processes including workforce planning, recruitment, associate relations, compensation and benefit programs, performance management, learning and development, safety, operational processes, succession planning and terminations.• Lead the HR team’s annual budgeting process, through cost analysis and projections.• Develop and maintain a three year road map for Human Resources.• Lead the development and maintenance of the Human Resource team’s service level agreements and ensure team adherence to them. • Implement effective change management and communication strategy to enable major change initiatives.• Present Human Resource strategy and project updates to a wide audience (HR Board, Executive team, Leadership team, Operations team, Store Managers and other business leaders).• Prioritize Human Resource projects that align with overall organizational requirements.• Collaborate with all levels of leadership to diagnose organizational needs and gaps within the business plan. • Lead the Human Resource requirements in the new store startup process, and ensure that the appropriate Human Resource services are in place, in accordance with established plans.• Work closely with IT to understand and manage the technology requirements of the department. • Manage relationships with external suppliers to ensure quality and quantity meets defined standards.
