Co-founder of Holonym, a decentralized identity protocol spun out of OpSci to provide a solution for identity verification, privacy-preserving verified claims, user-owned identity, and non-custodial account recovery in Web3 applications.

OpSci is a public-benefit corporation building autonomous scientific applications to support the proliferation of a global decentralized science community-industry. Services include consulting and software infrastructure for launching decentralized autonomous organizations executable on distributed cloud public networks and smart contract blockchains.

Dissertation research fellow sponsored by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) out of the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) in the Department of Justice (DOJ). This project aims to identify the interaction between neurodevelopment and adverse environmental stressors in order to predict violent outcomes on an individual basis using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the brain.

The Goldman Group is one of the largest federally funded stem cell research initiatives in Western, NY. Active lines of research includes genetic determinants of progenitor and glial cell types, developmental mechanisms of tumor emergence in the CNS, glial progenitor based therapy in pediatric leukodystophy models, development of restricted neuronal progenitor cells for transplantation and drug development, and reversal of epidermal cells to stem cells. As research assistant, helped manage rodent colonies, prepare samples, stain tissue and analyzed preliminary data for glial progenitor studies.

The Robert Group utilizes the Xenopus laevis model to study tumor recognition and proliferation. Under international collaboration, the Xenopus genome was fully sequenced and a novel MHC molecule was discovered. As, research assistant, was tasked with the characterization of MHC Class 1b molecules and their role in tumor proliferation via siRNA downregulation. Project was presented at the University of Rochester medical school research conference and placed first in an oral presentation competition.

The Fasan Group combines synthetic and biosynthetic methods and tools to produce bioactive molecules from natural products and natural product-like organic scaffolds. As research assistant, was tasked with the purification and characterization of a library of mutant cytochrome P450 enzymes. Later work involved testing the activity of the mutant library on the anti-malarial drug, Artemisinin. Three novel hydroxlated products were isolated functionalized and sent for in-vivo testing in malarial rat models. Further work was performed on expanding the library and establishing a high-throughput P450 mutant library screening method on probe substrates used to predict P450 enzyme activity on novel substrates.
