The main objective of an operations assistant is to provide relevant support to the operations manager. Some of the day to day duties consisted of answering telephones, problem solving, sorting mail and GrainTransact support to the zone. Other tasks included reconciling the petty cash, tracking binstocks, timesheets, safety items and creating purchase orders in SAP and ensuring the vendors are paid in a timely manner.
