About Shae Kinsman

I am a US-based, wine industry professional with 20+ years’ global experience in the fine wine business. Having held management positions in a range of wine businesses, from artisanal, estate wineries to fine-dining restaurants and global importing agencies, I bring a broad skill base and a pragmatic perspective to the table. My experience the past two decades, whether developing new brands, establishing international distribution for renowned wineries or managing change for iconic producers, has allowed me to travel the world and learn from the industry’s best. It is a blessing I count often.Through Kinsman Wine Consulting, I offer bespoke services to boutique wine businesses with my partner, winemaker Nigel Kinsman. Our combined experience runs the gamut from vineyard development and winemaking, through operations, luxury brand development and boots-on-the-ground tactical sales. Partnering with a handful of the industry’s most talented viticulturists, creatives, hospitality professionals and administrative specialists, we help principals articulate their vision, then guide a plan to execution. Kinsman Eades, our personal wine label, focuses on single-vineyard Napa Valley cabernet from compelling, hand-picked sites. Through mindful farming we strive for vibrant, authentic expression, crafting micro-lots of articulate cabernet that have much to say of their place of origin.Academic achievements include a Bachelor of Wine Marketing from Adelaide University, a Diploma in Wine & Spirits from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET), and certifications in Wine Finance and Accounting from Sonoma State University’s Wine Business School.
