Very recently, I chose to pursue the possibility of a new career path that combines both my passion for empathizing with people and ability to create solutions. Through Merit America, I received my Google UX Design Professional certificate and an currently exploring my potential, while continuing to expand upon my skills in user-focused research, design sprints, optimal accessibility practices, empathy, and ideation. During the certification program I completed 7 courses and received certifications for those as well. As I gain new knowledge and experience through UX Design, I have become very excited to see all that I am capable of achieving!Ever since I was little, as an artist, I have always looked at the world around me and celebrated its beauty. There is so much detail in artwork and nature, but there are also the details of what makes a person who they are, which I believe to be just as important. Artwork is a creation based on the artist’s experiences and in every person, there’s a work of art. People’s experiences and interactions with diverse environments are what sparked my passion for learning to understand people. I am a naturally empathetic person, which gives me the ability to work well with others and it strengthens how I communicate and discover new solutions. I am truly excited to bring the skills that I possess into the world of UX Design and it is my hope to connect with others and add their knowledge to my own.
