This position is responsible for the compilation and maintenance of student records in compliance with federal law, state law, and accreditation agencies. The Registrar compiles and maintains student records and state reports; maintain smooth operation of office; keeps abreast of regulations and procedures of student records as required by accreditation agencies. This position serves as the main resource of FERPA regulations. The AE Registrar serves as the administrator responsible for student records and class enrollment for AE.Essential Duties:• Organize and administer admissions, records and registration functions • Supervise the coordination, evaluation and certification of all AE graduation applicants• Responsible for collecting, recording, maintaining and reporting of student records within FERPA guidelines, e.g., grades, registration data, transcripts, , athletic eligibility, accreditation audits and other required reports (IPEDS, NSLDS, etc. ).• Problem solves the research, analysis and resolution of student disputes as they relate to records and registration. • Inform the admissibility of new and returning students. • Coordinate and maintain the faculty course schedule, extend course offers, process payroll and provide support for AE adjunct and special appointment faculty.• Manage the course schedule in coordination with the Director of Academic Advising and Academic Dean • Collaborate with others to facilitate and improve services to students, including catalog and registration/records policy questions. • Provide oversight of transcript evaluation for transfer students and evaluation of military, CLEP, AP and other forms of Prior Learning.• Coordinate special projects Show less
