Currently working at Seco within their Sustainability & EHS function as a Sustainability and Environmental Specialist. My role is to support Seco in driving the shift towards our sustainability objectives and long-term vision but also enabling Seco to achieve our vision of being the partner to enable a fast, easy and sustainable manufacturing industry. I am responsible for driving Climate and Biodviersity topics at Seco and supporting with our Net-Zero Journey. I am the contact for Product Offering & Innovation, Procurement, Logistics, Finance & Facilities for sustainability topics at Seco. I represent Seco and SMS in various Sandvik Sustainability Forums such as the SMS Net Zero & Biodiversity subcommittee, Science Based Targets governance group and Energy Topics.As of June 2021, I have completed a Bachelor's program at Uppsala University majoring in Sustainable Energy Transition and Leadership. Originally from the United States, I moved to Sweden when I was 18 to learn more about the world and broaden my perspectives. I am passionate about tackling the climate crisis and issues of sustainability, especially with regards to the energy sector. I have great interest in the socio-technical aspects of the energy transition and how we can ensure that as we mitigate climate change, we are making an energy system that is better for all. Additionally, I am passionate about sustainable manufacturing and how we can ensure that industries can develop production that is socially, economically and environmentally sustainable.
