Tapped by leadership to join a new group within the company — helping to build EA’s online business from the ground up. As Director of Business Development, played key role in leading the development of strategic partnerships, including content syndication, distribution, infrastructure and IP licensing. Also, provided support in the management of M&A transactions.

Brought on by Electronic Arts as one of its first staff attorneys, charged with overseeing general corporate matters, spanning product development, OEM transactions, mergers and acquisitions, employment issues, and the in-licensing of intellectual property with professional sports leagues, films, music, and more. While leading negotiations and risk mitigation for the company’s ventures, discovered a keen sensibility and affinity for the big-picture contextual side of opportunities.
