As PMO managing a major Supply Chain Project (Project Giant Leap) at the company aiming to transform the company's Supply Chain. Along with the project management also responsible for the Central Distribution Center, to manage and rework processes, aligning various departments and vendors, to streamline the processes to the company's requirements. Liaison with the 3PL and all internal customers to deliver the set objectives resulting in change to the vendor to shop delivery model to a central distribution center.The Main project includes bringing the Retail\Whole Sales Channel on an Electronic Point of Sale system by designing processes, implementation of the system, help desk, maintenance, customizations as well selection of HW, Audit and Data Integrity assurance and process design etc. The company is aiming to bring the complete network of 400+ stores online and responsibility includes ensuring that the project stays on course and deliversSalient features of the project were:Implementation of the Electronic Point of Sales at Shops & Depots. Merchandise Planning Transformation (MPIS)Central Distribution System (CDC)Establishing and Automation of a Replenishment DepartmentAs Head of the IT department established the IT department and overhauled the IT infrastructure to high availability of all services and a complete overhaul of the systems. Work with software vendors for design, change management and implementation of various customized applications in the company.My role has been in setting up process, procedures, monitoring at all levels of the supply chain, to help streamline and improve efficiency within the company.

Scope of the position is expansive and includes departmental direction and full design, installation, engineering, implementation, support, training, administration and management authority for all aspects of the Information Systems in the company.
