I have been working as a Research Scientist in Meta's Video Infrastructure organization for more than a year. During my tenure there, I worked in a large-scale multi-tenant compute farm for video transcoding. I had the opportunity to learn a great deal about distributed systems, containerized deployment, and video transformations during this period.Before that, I earned my PhD from the University of California, Riverside working in Computer Architecture and Hardware Accelerators for Parallel Systems. I worked extensively with accelerator architecture, high level programming languages for architectural simulation, and RTL hardware development,My experience encompasses:- Developing algorithms for parallel and distributed applications,- Designing specialized hardware architectures to efficiently run these algorithms,- Building emulators and cycle-accurate simulators using high-level languages for profiling and fast prototyping of architectures,- Implementing the optimized application in RTL for FPGA/ASIC.
