My role is as follows:• Completely involved in the tendering process of very high value & sophisticated firefighting & rescue equipments – Water tankers, Foam tankers, Rapid Intervention Vehicles, Breathing Apparatus Vehicle, HAZMAT Vehicle, Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting (ARFF), Command & Control Vehicle etc. • Post tender submission and announcement of result, close follow-up with end user to clarify all doubts as and when raised by them or the Central Tenders Committee.• Accompanying fire engineers and officers to the European factories for various inspection visits as specified by the tender before delivery.o Sales in-charge for Doosan Portable Power (previously Ingersoll Rand) - Air Compressor, Light Tower for Kuwait region. My role is as follows:• Develop business plan & strategy to achieve company sales target & bottom line profit• Attend various training programs & dealer meetings held for the GCC dealers by Doosan held at different locations in GCC• Respond to RFPs, RFQs, government tenders and conduct sales presentation• Coordinate with principal/factory for updated pricing/lead time• Report to senior management regarding performance and ensure that company policies & business ethics are maintained• Successfully closed a deal of 50 air compressors in 2013 – highest number of compressors sold in a single deal in Bahrah Trading history.o Bahrah Trading Co. also represents various other world renowned construction, material handling, earth moving & transportation equipments (Bobcat, Toyota, Doosan etc.). Actively try to cross sell these items to appropriate customers during sales visits. Hence it becomes imperative for me to have sound knowledge about technical specs, pricing and availability of these brands as well
