I would organise and plan meetings with trainee teachers to ensure that they understand the big picture of the course within school. I trained trainees on how to plan successful lessons, how to approach students in the classroom and to make sure that they understood how to have a work/life balance. I was promoted to liaise with Primary Schools in Wakefield to improve science schemes of work. This exciting opportunity allowed me to delve and research more exciting experiments, that would excite students about science and nurture scientific skills and inquiry. After the science events I would meet up regularly with Primary teams and discuss how to update science curriculums to ensure that students were engaged in scientific reasoning, thinking and discussions.

Working as a Science teacher, teaching this subjects to KS3 and my Biology specialism to KS4 and KS5. Working within a large science department was a great experience as collaborative work was encouraged and enjoyable.

This is supposed to be a short job to earn money for travelling, however, I loved working with people, maintaining administrative duties for employees working in shops from Birmingham all the way to Scotland. I did start filing however being awarded employee of the month by meeting deadline, I was promoted to more challenging roles. I then had to leave to start my undergraduate degree.
