"Sometimes the journey teaches you a lot about your destination" My work journey started off as working for Domino's Pizza. Working long hours, while balancing college and volunteering on the weekend pushed me out of my comfort zone. From gaining all the relevant skills from my work and personal life, it motivated me to apply for a role which would help me further with my personal development. Joining Sainsbury's made me more confident with interacting with different people and motivated me to learn beyond my role which includes, stock management, confidence to train new staff and representing my store through a 'Great Place To Work' scheme. My time at Sainsbury's influenced me to organize charity events to bring the community together. Which determined my decision of pursue a degree in Business Management and Marketing. The relevant experience I gained from my work and personal life made my degree easy to comprehend. Getting a high division 2:1 was all made possible because I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and go beyond the roles that were expected of me. Now, I'm looking to progress to my next destination which will help me develop my skills further and help me take my first step towards a new journey.
