In this role, while sitting in the Airblue headquarters, I'm assisting the Head of Airside Operations and looking after the matters, related to Ground Handling of all the domestic airports of Pakistan.

🛧 Perform overall supervision of flight and responsible for the safety, on-time departure of the flight, and maintain customer service level.🛧 Meet the aircraft and commence driving turnaround and record the information required by the carrier.🛧 Ensure all key staff is aware of the Standard Time Departure / Estimate Time Departure.🛧 Responsible for coordinating documentation between load control and the loading team.🛧 Regular communication with Cockpit/Cabin Crew, Terminal Operations, Flight Operations, Engineering, Catering, and other Airport Agencies (CAA, Customs, ANF, and ASF).🛧 Coordination of all phases of aircraft handling, including catering, cleaning, crew, and passenger boarding/de-boarding.🛧 Supervision of handling agents during all phases of aircraft loading/unloading, including checking on correct buildup/preparation of cargo or luggage.🛧 Ensure all cargo or luggage is properly tied down or secured in the compartments in accordance with Airline requirements.🛧 Provide daily monitoring reports to the Manager about handling performance, document delays, and reasons.🛧 Report any flight handling irregularities to Airline management as locally defined.🛧 Support the development and modification of processes and procedures with the aim of improving quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.🛧 Able to support or troubleshoot all station-related processes.🛧 Support Airline as required to ensure safe, service-oriented handling.

🛧 Arrange for underutilized resources to be re-deployed at gates and counters.🛧 Carry out safety and security checks.🛧 Handle dissatisfied customers or passengers at the counters, gates, or in the aircraft before door closures.🛧 Investigate reasons for breaches in safety and security standards.🛧 Manage staff conflicts and grievances.🛧 Provide coaching and feedback to improve team performance.🛧 Provide on-the-job training to enhance the capabilities of team members.🛧 Recommend improvements and new processes to enhance customer services.🛧 Lead the Passenger Services, check-in counter, and Lounge teams to deliver a consistent, professional, and profitable service to customers.🛧 Directly supervise Customer Service staff (Check-In & Boarding) as relates to adherence to the uniform program, general appearance, proper procedures, and all other policies.🛧 Conduct performance reviews of Customer Service staff on a probationary and annual schedule🛧 Develop and lead the team to deliver operational excellence across all KPIs.🛧 Drive all baggage aspects: Check-in, tracking, lost and damaged luggage.

🛧 Greeting passengers and checking their tickets and passports against the passenger list using computerized systems.🛧 Asking security questions, allocating seats, and giving out boarding cards and luggage labelsweighing luggage and charging the passenger extra if the luggage is overweight.🛧 Directing passengers through security and departures.🛧 Giving flight information and directing passengers to departure gates.🛧 Dealing with issues from delayed, canceled, or missed flights.🛧 Checking boarding passes at the departure gate.🛧 Escorting people who require assistance and unaccompanied children.🛧 Making announcements on the public address system.
