The purpose of my classes was to introduce participants to different types of meditation, philosophy, poetry, music and movement. Teachings drew from eastern and western traditions of religion and philosophy. Topics included: Love, Compassion, Happiness, Health, Death, Truth and the Meaning of Existence.

This is the first step in the establishment of an international social network of young leaders all over the world. Through the program, many young leaders will be able to develop practical skills in cooperative leadership from a space of creativity and based on a complex understanding of reality from a new mind. Tools being developed include a Training Toolkit and a multimedia, interactive website. The ILT will likely be launched in Maritime Canada in partnership with GPI Atlantic and Canada World Youth in the summer of 2008.

I was responsible for the management and day-to-day functioning of an organization that employs over 200 people with two subsidiary companies. We engaged in continuous activity in the fields of education, community and management, including (but not limited to): Creating a new Statement of Principals that would improve the functionality and efficiency of the institutions of the Student Association; developing the Association into a politically unaffiliated body that was efficient and responsive to the needs of the student; extensive and successful fundraising initiatives; creation of new scholarships and needs-based funding for disadvantaged or needy students; balancing of the budget (following severe debt); improving management standards; improving communication between Student Association and University Senate and Management; planning and execution of over 40 weekly cultural events and activities for the student body; creating links between the community of the City of Beer-Sheva and the University; awareness raising of environmental and health issues; supporting minorities on campus; and ongoing organizational assessment.
