My position takes on many roles, which include being a sales associate, cashier, visual merchandiser, shipment person and stock person. Duties include providing excellent customer service, attending to and assisting customers, unloading and processing merchandise, organizing merchandise in stockrooms, and planning and reorganizing the layout of the store as well as organizing visual objects.-Worked closely with senior management to improve processes within my job description and extra duties within the store- Demonstrated punctuality and flexibility when adhering to changing work hours- Strong communication and organization skills- Ability to delegate and prioritize tasks and responsibilities while providing exceptional service to multiple customers at once as well as when completing multiple tasks- Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate- Implements time management skills when completing multiple tasks while adhering to time constraints- Utilizes both independent and team work skills when working on the sales floor and stock rooms- Adapts quickly when switching between roles which include: sales associate, cashier, visual merchandiser, shipment person and stock person

This position was the first of three teaching placements within the Education program at Brock.- Developed and taught a full unit on Light and Geometric Optics, and a partial unit on Cells and Tissues- Constructed, administered, and marked a unit test- Utilized self-reflection after each lesson to assess lesson effectiveness as well as student reception and behaviour- Conducted labs and demonstrations to further student understanding
