I’ve tutored Digital Systems 2, 3 and Programming 1.Digital Systems 2 I had to facilitate students in the laboratory with their practical assignments they had to complete. Most of the work revolved around building digital circuits such as A/D and D/A converters, 555 oscillators and counter design using JK flip flops.Digital Systems 3 revolved around programming the 16F84 microcontroller in the Assembler language using MPLAB IDE version 5.11. My duty was to assist the students with using the software package as well as assisting them with the basic concepts behind writing programs for the PIC in Assembler. Programming 1 involved computer programming in the ‘C-Language’. My duties were to familiarise students with the language and also assist them in learning the basics behind programming in a procedural language.

I’ve worked as a trainee technician as part of my compulsory co-operative education (in-service training).
