Introduction to Shaheen SeedatShaheen has been in the project management industry since the late 1990’s. Since his involvement in the industry, Shaheen has played many roles, ranging from Business Analyst, Project / Programme Management to heading up the Centre of Excellence and a Project Management Office.Shaheen has been the lead on many initiatives. He has led projects in the Operations / Service Delivery area as well as Strategic and creating opportunities for new business and new business start-ups.In his various roles, Shaheen has led teams that were co-located as well as remote. He also managed seasoned professionals and junior staff. Shaheen subscribes to “leading by example” and treating people the way they want to be treated. He believes that people are the key to an organisations success and that a motivated happy team are more likely to aspire and achieve. He has worked with teams where he was required to mentor them to deliver their best and to stay motivated in a tough and thankless environmentShaheen gains stakeholder trust through professional execution of his duties. Most recent rolesIn the last few years, Shaheen has been at the head of the Managed services and PMO Build department. Managed Services is an Operational role which deals with Managing Service delivery. This role has given Shaheen managerial exposure into the consulting world and allowed him to strengthen his service delivery, resource and contract management skills. PMO Build focuses in on bringing in new business and delivering against agreed proposals. In both roles, Service Delivery and customer satisfaction is key.
