As the founder of an environmental organization focused on tackling ocean pollution in Pakistan, I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's work, including organizing regular beach cleanups and monitoring ocean pollution levels. Our organization has organized approximately 90 beach cleanups in Karachi, resulting in the removal of 25 tonnes of trash from the coastlines of Karachi beach.In addition to organizing beach cleanups, I also collect trash data during each cleanup event. This data allows us to monitor the waste in the area and identify patterns and trends in the types and sources of pollution. As a data analyst, I am responsible for analyzing and interpreting this data to derive meaningful insights that can inform our organization's work.One of the primary ways that I use my data analysis skills to monitor ocean pollution is by cleaning, transforming, and visualizing the data we collect. By organizing the data into structured formats and using data visualization tools to represent the data, I can identify trends and patterns that might not be immediately apparent from raw data. This allows us to better understand the sources and extent of ocean pollution in the area, and to develop more effective strategies for addressing the issue.As a data analyst working in the field of ocean conservation, I understand the importance of accurate and reliable data in driving positive change. By collecting and analyzing data on ocean pollution levels, I am able to help our organization make more informed decisions about how best to allocate our resources and prioritize our efforts

As a data analyst intern at Curators, I was responsible for analyzing and interpreting data related to the marketing campaigns of our clients. My primary duties included collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources, and then using statistical analysis and data modeling techniques to identify patterns and trends that could be used to improve our clients' marketing strategies.In this role, I worked closely with other members of the marketing team to ensure that our clients' marketing campaigns were data-driven and effective. I analyzed data related to customer demographics, behavior, and preferences, as well as data related to the performance of various marketing channels, such as email, social media, and paid advertising.Overall, my experience as a junior data analyst at Curators allowed me to develop strong skills in data analysis, modeling, and visualization, as well as in collaborating with other professionals to drive business results.

As a participant in the Peace Innovation Fellowship program at Karachi Citizen Lab from October 2019 to April 2020, I received extensive training in various areas of global leadership and social entrepreneurship. The 7-month fellowship program provided me with the opportunity to develop my skills in design thinking, shared-value creation, and social enterprise development.One of the highlights of the program was the chance to present my business idea to top investors like Engro, Jazz and World Bank, which allowed me to gain valuable experience in pitch development and business modeling. Through the fellowship, I gained hands-on experience in various aspects of business development, including business planning, strategy development, and data collection.Overall, the fellowship has been an important step in my career development, equipping me with the skills and knowledge I need to succeed in the dynamic and rapidly evolving field of social entrepreneurship.
