• Overall responsibility for designing and implementing the bank’s marketing plan, product development plan, communications plan and PR plan. • Formulating, planning and managing the annual marketing budget to achieve the bank’s business objectives.• Identifying and developing relationships with key national and international institutions to facilitate the development and the growth of the bank. • Managing products’ life cycles from strategic planning to tactical activities.• Conducting market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future products.• Monitoring staff performance and ensuring that the necessary directions and training are provided.• Providing reports and project plans, preparing budgets and other papers as required for the Board, the executive directors and the other stakeholders.

Member of the Bank’s senior management committee, reported directly to the Shariah Supervisory Board of the bank, Audit Committee and to the Managing Director. • Overseeing the Bank’s Shariah compliance and reviewing & resolving issues/concerns in relation to Shariah within the Bank. • Developing and executing detailed Shariah audit plans and programmes and to prepare recommendations for corrective actions/improvements to rectify any issues arising from the Shariah audit. • Developing and delivering Shariah training courses to staff. • Overall responsibility for developing and launching new products.• Designed and implemented the bank’s Shariah governance system and control. • Planned and executed internal Shariah audit on regular basis for 3 years.• Attended all Shariah Supervisory Board (SSB) meetings and had overall responsibility for managing the relationship with the SSB members.• Attended the Assets & Liabilities Committee (ALCO) meetings on a monthly basis to advise on the profit distribution and other Shariah matters.

As Product Manager, reported to the Director of Marketing. The role involved:• Identifying new product opportunities.• Designing, developing & implementing new Shariah compliant products. • Managing existing products to ensure profitability. • Identifying staff training needs.• Developing and delivering training courses for the product range.
