Dr. Ghassemi is the Program Director and Co-Founder of HealthCareer Certs, an organization that is focused on helping health science students become clinically certified to become a medical assistant, phlebotomist, patient care technician, or pharmacy technician. She has a wide variety of experience as a research chemist, professor, and now a program director.Dr. Ghassemi and her co-founder wanted to create a fully online and self-paced clinical certification program that would be convenient for a wide variety of people, ranging from full time students in university who are interested in attending medical/PA/pharmacy school to working parents who are looking to increase their career opportunities. As a result, HealthCareer Certs was formed in 2020. Since its inception, HealthCareer Certs has grown to a focused and dedicated team of educators, with hundreds of graduates from our programs. Dr. Ghassemi is the lead instructor for the most sought-after program, the Medical Assistant course, where she combines her passion for teaching with her kindness to ensure all students' questions and concerns are addressed. Dr. Ghassemi has a keen interest in networking with hospital/healthcare partners, high schools, universities and other training programs.
