About Shahram Shekarriz

the structural and seismic design has been experienced for over 20 years, and prominent features of these years are as follows:• propose simplified Technical approaches to solve complicated projects • utilize the today’s structural analysis software in current projects such as Sap2000 ver 23, Etabs2000 ver 19, Plaxis 2D or 3D ver 20, Robot ver 22, and familiarity with updated parts of these programs is my main struggle to provide an optimum design • provide innovative structural systems to solve the problems of a project and create a perpetual plan in which the main characteristics are simplicity of construction method, high safety, and inexpensive technique. • Update programs of the design process developed based on last codes such as ACI, AASHTO, FEMA, and ATC. The Mathcad software is utilized to prepare these programs. • Familiarity with nonlinear analysis, time history, investigation of structural Vulnerability, and modeling of soil-structure interaction by geotechnical software such as PLAXIS 2D,3D• Development of design criteria for particular circumstances of a project because this issue leads all groups involved in the project, and a proper design is related to this document.• Coordination and management of various technical departments of a project• Calculation and modeling of passive structural control such as isolators, friction, and viscous • Consideration and modeling of floor vibration due to human activity in Etabs 2000 because the CSI company provided a method for design and analysis based on AISC code. The mentioned attributes have been utilized in the following issues:• Industrial structures: Car Manufacturing Plant structural design, Metro Operation Control Building Design, HASTEGERD station, and depot and parking of line 6 of Tehran metro • Tunnel design for metro and underground stations: line 6 of Tehran metro, line 2 of shiraz metro • Bridge design: Southern extension of line 1 of Tehran metro, 20 bridges between Isfahan and Yazd including reinforced and prestressed voided slab recently• Induced railway noise and vibration: measurement, modeling, and proposing the suitable mitigated system in line 2 of Karaj metro, line 6 of metro Tehran, and a residential area in the vicinity of line 7 of Tehran metro• Structural building information modeling: the integration between analysis, design, and drawing due to err reduction, the increase of quality

designing and supervising the 20 bridges from Esfahan to Yazd. Specifications of them are as follows:• Five bridges are single-span of 35 meters, and the offered structural system is the reinforced concrete voided slab. All bridges are skewed except one.• The bridge over the Zayanderod river, whose length is equal to 140 meters. The structural system and construction method are respectively segmental and the balanced cantilever. • One bridge is comprised of three independent bridges. The total length of them is equal to 300 meters. This bridge is unique because there are many limitations, including water pipe, water Chanel, existing road and railway, and future extension of railway and road. This bridge is not skewed despite the skewed horizontal path. The longitudinal distance of the piers is 35 meters, and the cross-section includes two piers whose distance is 22 meters, and the length of the left and right cantilever is 6 meters.• One bridge is comprised of three independent bridges. The total length of them is equal to 300 meters. The longitudinal distance of the piers is 35 meters, the cross-section includes four piers whose distance is 6 meters, and the length of the left and right cantilever is 6 meters. This bridge is not skewed.• Other bridges are multiply spans, and The length of each span is less than 20 meters.
