I am a faculty member and an associate researcher in LIS field since 2009 and I have been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students several courses to enrich their knowledge and understandings of library operations and trending issues in the field of Librarianship and information studies. I worked as the Dean of the Libraries and Head of Information Services at Iran University of Medical Sciences since 2020. In addition, I was Deputy Dean for Research and education for 3 years in the school I work. I have sufficient experience in predominately qualitative and also quantitative research methods due to supervising postgraduate students as well as conducting and publishing independent research and I have had the opportunity to mentor 25 (18 completed) Ph.D. students and 42 (35 completed) MSc students resulted in more than 70 original research articles in the top peer review and ranked journals. I have participated in obtaining more than 20 research grants either as a principal or co-investigator.
