From 2015 to present , I have taken on a diverse and hands-on role in the film and media production industry. In addition to my core responsibilities of producing and directing, I manage a dedicated team across various projects, ensuring smooth operations from pre-production through post-production. My role also extends to overseeing day-to-day office operations, coordinating workflows, and ensuring efficiency in every aspect of production. Additionally, as an internship supervisor, I mentor emerging talent, providing guidance and support to help them grow within the industry. This experience has allowed me to refine my leadership and management skills while continuing to deliver high-quality creative content.

From July 2011 to December 2014, I worked intermittently as an apprentice and later as a freelancer for Hubble Productions in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this role, I contributed to various aspects of production, particularly as a Production Assistant and Technical Crew member. My responsibilities included liaising with NGOs for humanitarian projects and documentaries, organizing finances for talents, and coordinating work schedules for both crew and talent. I was also involved in talent scouting, communicating with parents of young talents, and providing on-location scriptwriting assistance when needed. Additionally, I supported production on key projects, such as Asia Underworld for the Crime Investigation Channel and Planet Kids and Kids Go for RTM: TV 1. These experiences honed my skills in logistics, coordination, and talent management, providing a strong foundation in production operations.

In July and August 2012, I worked as an Operator for Asia Pacz Pte Ltd, where I played a key role in both operational setup and client engagement for the company’s emerging “Bio-Treatment” Department. My responsibilities went beyond routine tasks—I was instrumental in developing the internal document flow system and creating a feedback loop to enhance communication and efficiency across departments. Additionally, I was actively involved in preparing and presenting project proposals to clients, ensuring they aligned with their needs and expectations.A significant part of my role involved going on-site when necessary, ensuring smooth operations and timely execution of projects. I was also entrusted with the midnight shift servicing for specific clientele, providing critical support under time-sensitive conditions. One of the most rewarding aspects of this role was my involvement in promoting “Bio” products to potential clients, where I learned how to tailor pitches based on client requirements and successfully secured interest in our offerings.Working in this high-pressure, fast-paced environment helped me develop strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, all while maintaining a keen focus on client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

I was selected for this role at TMC Academy due to my outstanding academic and extracurricular performance during my diploma and higher diploma studies. In this capacity, I was responsible for recruiting potential students and providing personalized advice to enquirers, matching their academic portfolios with suitable courses aligned with their interests and qualifications. My role extended beyond admissions, as I also served as an advisor to the executive committee of the student association, overseeing all student-related activities and ensuring their smooth execution.I managed cold calls, led presentations at education fairs, and served as the spokesperson for TMC Academy, welcoming and guiding new students through their enrollment process. Additionally, I conducted competitor research to enhance the value of our services, ensuring that we stayed competitive in the market. My hands-on involvement in student registration and enrollment gave me a comprehensive understanding of the academic recruitment process, allowing me to contribute effectively to the academy’s goals while building lasting relationships with students.

During my National Service with the Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF), I was posted to the Hazmat Unit after completing basic training. I was deployed to Tuas Checkpoint, where I played a pivotal role in the control and inspection of hazardous materials entering Singapore. This position demanded a high level of vigilance and strict adherence to safety protocols, ensuring that all incoming substances met national safety standards.A key aspect of my role involved close collaboration with the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and the Counter Terrorism Surveillance Unit (CTSU). Together, we worked hand in hand to safeguard Singapore’s borders against potential threats. Additionally, I was responsible for deploying the Rapid Deploying Unit (RDU) to track vehicles carrying hazardous materials, providing HQ with real-time updates for enhanced monitoring and rapid response capabilities. This experience not only deepened my operational and coordination skills but also solidified my commitment to national security and teamwork in high-pressure environments.
