- Analysing Portfolio cases & ensuring they meet the requirements of the credit policy.- Make recommendations to the new lending team to support underwriting decision of portfolio properties.- Communicate potentially complex financial information - Adhering strictly to department policies and procedures, challenging any gaps identified and providing recommendations for change.- Contributing in the achievement of departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) KPIs ensuring I maintain the ability to demonstrate and I am meeting our TCF obligations.- Adhering to key department Service Level Agreements (SLAs) ensuring work is actioned in line with SLA’s to a consistently high standard.- Proactively engaging with key stakeholders, both internal and external to the business.- Reviewing sources of industry guidance and best practice in order to keep abreast of changes which could impact Buy-To-Let Portfolio Lending and provide recommendations to Line management.- Taking responsibility for maintaining own CPD (Continuous Professional Development) folder ensuring it is kept up to date.- Adhering to the company’s training and monitoring programme including Anti-Money Laundering/Financial Crime, Treating Customers Fairly.

RESPONSIBILITIES• Training 18 people to be risk compliant and perform in accordance with FCA and RBS Policies• Delivering regular weekly 1-2-1 sessions and providing direct constructive feedback.• Coaching and developing advisors to maximise their performance.• Being proactive and a forward thinker, raising the bar for previous performances within my team.• Taking accountability to resolve escalated complaints/queries from customers and internally.• Make resolution decisions within my authority, empowering change when necessary.• Working closely and liaising with managers. Carrying out group meetings with my team
