I'm Vyom Shah, the founder of Foodism and a dynamic entrepreneur with a penchant for turning challenges into opportunities.The business started five years ago as a three-person operation in Ahmedabad with a digital magazine focused on celebrating culinary talent and spotlighting the vibrant world of food. Over 12 editions, we earned industry recognition and became a go-to source for all things food.Over time, our journey evolved organically. We transformed into a thriving community with 8000+ active users and a treasure trove of 20,000+ recipes. The pandemic challenged us to think differently. Responding to the needs of our community, we made a strategic pivot, creating a platform for home chefs to shine. The vision was to create a social networking app, fostering recipe sharing and collaborative workshops. Yet, with a discerning eye on market saturation, we gracefully recalibrated our trajectory, choosing to continue as a digital magazine, set to relaunch in 2024 with renewed vigor.Simultaneously, in sync with market needs, we've identified a niche and explored uncharted territories. We have built the Foodism recruitment app tailored exclusively for hospitality professionals. I'm seeking fellow visionaries to join me in elevating this app to new heights, creating a space where culinary talent meets unparalleled career opportunities.Alongside Foodism, I am also the Managing Director of Armstrong. It is a leading manufacturer and exporter of industrial machinery and spare parts in the HDPE/PP Woven Sack Industry. I oversee all R&D, operations, sales and marketing aspects of the company while developing strategy and implementing improvement initiatives.
