Zid is one of the largest e-commerce SaaS providers in the Gulf area. I first worked with the payments team, then as an IC who takes features from start to end. XPay is a startup in the FinTech, which try to provide financial services, and make payments easier for everyone, especially closed communities like clubs, schools, etc.I contribute to the backend development of our services. We use Python, Django, and Django-Rest-Framework. I mainly develop and maintain APIs for frontend & mobile developers.I was mainly responsible for integrations with different payment gateways to facilitate different payment methods and implemented Card, Cash collection, Kiosk, and e-wallet methods through different payment processors. I also developed features like Subscriptions (recurring payments), Promo codes, User Balance, User Addresses, and others, and took part in developing some features around the Django-admin to facilitate payments management for our clients.We use the agile methodology to develop new features, Git to manage our source code, GitHub to host it, ClickUp for task management, CircleCI for CI, and AWS for Deployment.
