The position requires a 360 management of the business: pricing, operations, customer engagement, vendor management, NPI, marketing campaigns, SLAs, contracting and billing. Revenue growth via new features, expanding into new markets and introducing new products.

ZontaNet’s mission is to commercialize Black Networks by developing a low-cost IoT gateway, securing all communications and obscuring the communicating parties. ZontaNet is developing a Black Star Gateway proof-of-concept and was a finalist at SMU’s business plan competition. ZontaNet has evaluated IoT startup proposals in Texas and Utah and consulted clients globally on Smart Cities cyber security.

Strategic Alliances: Drive solution roadmap for Strategic Alliances in Cisco East with partners (HCL, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, SAP, IBM). Smart Cities: Developed practices and partner ecosystem for Smart Cities in Energy, Security, Transportation, Healthcare, Buildings and e-Gov. Partners were ARUP, Metropolis, 3M, L&T, M&M Group, UST, ILFS, HCLS and Ashok Leyland and a $100+M portfolio. Led the Smart Grid initiative in India, which culminated in $60M+ in revenues in grid modernization. Enabled a large Cisco sale for end-end IT for major US corporation.

IBM-Nortel Strategic Alliance: Drive Enterprise Data sales (Switching, WLAN, Security Application Intelligence, NMS) via the IBM-Nortel Alliance. BSNL Phase IV launch–India (in-country expat)/GSM Business Transformation: Launch/Technical Director for the world's largest GSM deployment of the timeCDMA Wireless Product Management: Lead disruptive changes in CDMA wireless business, with new products, to gain substantial competitive revenue.

Leadership Development Program selected 25 individuals out of 30K R&D via VP nomination. Candidates were provided Leadership training, executive mentoring, and annual rotations for 4 years culminating in a Senior Mgmt role. Assignments were: Advanced Technology: Design, implement a carrier-grade Unified Networks architecture with backbone and multi-access technologies. Strategic Business Development: Report to Wireless Executive Cabinet about Competitive/ Industry Analysis, mobility growth and strategic plan. International assignments (in country expat) with greenfield deployment of new wireless technologies (CDMA) in the Middle East and China.

North American Major Accounts: New Product Introduction, network expansion, and network services (field support, test and feature design) for Nynex, MCI, Verizon, Sprint, BMC and BCTel
