Design and Project Management Leadership

I am part of a collaborative team of architects, urban designers, interior designers, fashion designers, industrial designers, engineers, construction management specialists and social media specialists who utilizes a more holistic design approach in all aspect of the creative process.We aim to over achieve what is expected from each and every stakeholders, and at the same time, maintaining our design integrity, holding responsibility to the general society and caring for the environment.

Responsible for coordinating the design work and gels the team involved in the entire construction process, right from the work of design thinking team (architects/engineers) and the planning phase, to the studio work and the final construction.Being part of a business discipline that uses project management, design, strategy, and supply chain techniques to control a creative process, support a culture of creativity, and build a structure and organization for design.

I am part of FCD Group strategic team overseeing global business development and operations. We are looking into serving our existing global clients and expanding to other potential global locations to render our facade consultancy & engineering services in all 6 continents.

GeneralAssist in general representation of the company.Assume the role of project director when required.Assist the architecture design team to develop design solutions for projects.Assume responsibility for and assist in the development of design concepts.Prepare with the project team documentation for tenders and construction.Plan project and subordinate designer work flows.Assist with resourcing requirements and planning for architecture projects.Clarify scope of work and prepare schedule for review.Assist in producing good design and standard detailing. Project SetupFinalize the client program for approval and sign offReview and summarize all statutory requirements in regards to local authority submissionsPrepare a list of documents to form the design documentation and working drawings packageDesign and DocumentationPrepare sketch designs including perspectives material selections etc.Revise the design based on input from the clientPrepare drawing documentation after signing final design development by clientPresent the design concept to the clientVisit the site to take site measurements, digital photographs and investigate the areaCo-ordinate with the M&E consultant or other project consultantsCoordinate with the CAD team to prepare construction documentation for both architectural, interior and M&E work including details and specificationForward sketch designs, details and materials input by the CAD team and 3D (if necessary) Project ManagementLead the project team in developing details and cross checking with other relevant documents such as M/E.Visit site to inspect the implementation to ensure compliance with the design intent.Coordinate with the clients cost consultant /QS to develop and finalize budget detailsIssue information to the contractors in regards to RFI, change orders, additional details, site instructions and variationsAttend site meetings as necessary
