“Discovery consists of seeing what everybody has seen, andthinking what nobody has thought”. To me there is no feeling moreelectrifying than the fascination of watching a figment of imaginationemerge through the aid of science into a plan on paper and later intoa reality never ceases to amaze me.The mystery of physics alwaysenthralls me, it established an eagerness in me to probe inquisitivelyfurther into the subject thus persuaded me to pursue a career inengineering.I opted to major in EEE, a field which influences all man-madecreations and operations, from the enormity of airbus A380 to thefully autonomous vehicle. While my performancewas excellent and consistent in all subjects, it was control systemengineering, embedded and real time systems that caught myattention. Once I triggered the release mechanism and watched twopounds of rocks hurtle skywards, I thought to myself “trebuchetsare awesome”. Years passed before I realised that this was my firstengineering project that instilled in me the urge to understand howthe electronic system behaves as the nervous system providingfeedback and control when combined with a mechanical system.For me knowledge literally means to see, listen, understand, desire,plan, work and finally achieve.With time I increasingly becameaware of the need to link disciplines in order to fully answer somecritical questions which stimulated a growing interest to acquire newknowledge through research that combines skills and perspectives ofmultiple disciplines.Participating in an industry-sponsored scholarship program focused on SDV technology sparked my passion for innovation. Collaborating with a diverse team, we developed cutting-edge software solutions for autonomous vehicles. This experience fueled my desire to join Accenture, where I aim to contribute my expertise in SDV and drive impactful solutions for future mobility.
