I am proud to have made a tangible impact by contributing to the monitoring and analysis of air pollution in Lahore.Throughout the project, I utilized my skills in full-stack development to ensure seamless integration of the front-end and back-end components. I was responsible for managing the database using MongoDB, building the server-side logic with Express, creating a dynamic user interface with React, and tying everything together with Node.js. The end result was a robust and scalable AQI portal that provided valuable insights into air quality in Lahore.Working on this project was a great opportunity for me to apply my technical skills and contribute to a meaningful cause. I organized and led meetings, developed and executed plans for events and activities, and worked with the team to achieve the society's goals. I also collaborated with other student organizations and universities to promote the society and bring new opportunities to its members. This role provided me with valuable leadership and organizational skills, as well as the opportunity to build relationships and network within the academic community. We published the first e-magazine which received recognition at LASA 2021 as the best publication, which was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team and myself. It was a fulfilling experience to contribute to the growth and success of the society, and I am proud of the impact that I made during my time as President.
