After serving HEC for almost 15 years and a 2 years stint at the National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) till Dec 2019, Shaikh has recently joined the IQRA University, Islamabad as a visiting Professor while teaching Philosophy and Ethics at the Bachelors level. So far he has taught over 300 students from the faculuty of CS, BBA, Fashion Design, & Psychology, He had earlier founded The Happiness School along with two of his friends. This is a Training Platform whereby we train individuals & organizations mostly on Soft Skills, skills which are usually not taught in schools, colleges & universities. We have a support team of 13 members who are all gurus in the making, in their fields.He has a BS in Electronics Engineering from University of Southern Colorado, USA and a Masters in Business Management from the Harvard of Asia i.e. Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines. He carries a diversified exposure of Communication Management, General Management & Human Resource Development with 30+ years of local & international experience. In his previous position at HEC, he was working as Project Director (HRD) while being a high performing team player and a coach. Over the years of his professional career, he has somehow mastered the art of Change Management.A corporate trainer; he has delivered the following courses and lectures internationally & locally:• Anger Management• Change Management• Public speaking, Reading and Creative writing• Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)• Project Management• Time Management & Stress Management• Conflict Management• Emotional Intelligence• How not to write a resume?• Presenting your best self to employers etc.A social nonconformist, a voracious reader, an inspirational speaker, and a fiery writer; Shaikh to date has authored over 115 articles, critiques and short stories on his writing space on SCRIBD (www.scribd.com). He has published 6 peer reviewed research papers in Pakistaaniat (an OJS journal in the US - www.pakistaniaat.org), 4 peer reviewed research papers in Criterion (a Pakistani journal – www.criterionquarterly.com) and 3 International Conference papers in USA, China and Pakistan respectively. He has also peer reviewed 6 research articles for different International journals.A born Sufi and a Haji too; Shaikh has taken Bayat in the Naqshbandi and the Qadri Sufi orders in the early 80’s, in the Suhurwardi, Chisti & Qalandari orders in the 90s & in the Mevlevi order in Konya, Turkiye in May 2017 respectively.
