With over 16+ of experience in the field of IT and Information Security, I am passionate about protecting data and systems from cyber threats and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have worked in different domains, such as education, finance, and healthcare in India and across the Middle East countries such as, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Qatar. I also have a strong academic background in computer applications, which enables me to understand the technical aspects of security architecture and solutions.In my current role, I am responsible for providing and writing security policies, streamlining process such as managing IT Risks related to Application Security, IT Continuity, Vulnerability and Patch management and third-party and vendor security and risk assessments. I have a solid understanding of network security, operating systems, and information security frameworks, such as NIST, CIS, and ISO27001. I also have a keen awareness of the regulatory requirements, especially the GDPR data security requirements, and how they affect the business operations and customer trust. I leverage my skills in security awareness, penetration testing, and network security to deliver effective and efficient security solutions and services. I also have strong people and project management skills, which help me to lead and mentor the security team, and to communicate and coordinate with other departments and external partners.
