I spent 12 years at some of the largest newsrooms in the country interviewing biggest CEOs, and studying the Indian as well the US consumer markets - from packaged foods, skincare, luxury retail, and ecommerce. During this time, I worked with print, television, online media and fast-paced news-wire services, mastering the art of writing, editing, story-telling, and producing video content. I've broken stories of some of the largest M&A deals across Oil & Gas, Aviation, Consumer Packaged Goods, Entertainment, Pharmaceuticals, and Infrastructure.I then followed my childhood obsession of concocting drinks using tea and botanicals in my home kitchen, which ultimately led to the start my kombucha brand HappyBooch at a farmers' market in 2017. We opened our own self-funded kitchen in 2018. From sketching our logo, to procuring the highest quality amber glass bottles and labels, to creating our line of gut-loving beverages, pitching to retailers and taking them to store shelves across multiple cities, and building a profitable operation - all of it has taught me so much about the consumer products business.I run HappyBooch, an all natural artisanal kombucha brand in Mumbai. Kombucha or booch is a naturally-probiotic, tea-based fermented drink that is known world over for its gut-healing and detoxifying properties.
