• Administration of Tool Room Division.• To assist the Orient Fan as world class business house in quality and brand. • Project Implementation by adopting Modern latest Technology.• Business Planning within allocated budget.• Co- Ordination with different Deptts. and suppliers. • Arranging resources/Tooling for the Lamination Production of Ceiling fan, Table Fan, Exhaust Fan, False Cover.• To cater Tooling for the ORIENT Faridabad and Kolkata Factory as per Prod. requirement.• New Product Development.• Heading the Tool Room & Press Shop and leading the tooling and production team of 100 (Earlier team was 170) employees and 7 Engineers & staff members. I am reporting to VP.• Identifying and implementing the departmental objectives and that of team members in synergy with the company objectives. • Designing tools for new products and coordinating all activities related for new product development. • Improving material productivity by saving on raw materials and consumables keeping scrap generation to the barest minimum. • Modernizing the manufacturing process by adopting latest technology and implementing plant modernization projects on a continual basis. • Reducing operating costs by enforcing control over labor, consumables and energy consumption as per the approved budget. • Managing and motivating the team for top rate performance by honing their skills through extensive need based training.• Implementing ISO14000 and QMS 9001: 2000, arranging the internal audits periodically and coordinating for the disposal of NCRs well within the approved time schedule.

• Prepared new product drawings using AutoCAD and layout and drawings of new components in a time bound manner.• Prepared drawings for jigs & fixtures for precision machining operations.• Routed sheets for producing new products as per process layout • Coordinated with other departments for interrelated functions and resolved routine problems• Participated in SGAs and Value Engineering projects for productivity improvement.• Implemented 5S in the tooling development department.

 Prepared drawings for components of Light Recovery Vehicles (LRV) and monitored the progress vis-à-vis target for the LRV project. Controlled the rejection of fabricated parts and achieved significant cost reduction.  Efficiently managed the manpower and optimum utilization of casual workers. Controlled fuel and power consumption.  Maintained discipline among the workers; efficiently handled workers grievances and problems and resolved them effectively. Coordinated and ensured adherence to delivery schedule by the vendors. Introduced suggestion scheme in the plant to promote employee participation in company operations and build a highly effective work atmosphere.
