• Facilitates and completes monthly and yearly closing procedures to the required standard• Analyses revenues & expenses to ensure that they are recorded appropriately monthly• Draft statutory financial statement and manage financial and tax audits, internal and external• Ensures that all financial reporting deadlines are met• Prepares quarterly VAT returns & records data to allow completion of annual P11D’s & PSA Settlements• Assists in variance analysis of actual versus budget monthly and liaises with operational contacts to resolve queries• Ensures that internal and external questions and queries are answered in a timely and effective manner, seeking advice from the Financial Controller as necessary• Always ensures best practice and puts forward ideas to management as to how standards, processes and procedures can be maintained and improved.• Preparation and production of Monthly Management Report and monthly balance sheet reconciliation for all accounts• Preparation of monthly cashflow forecasts for entities under scope, identifying any funding requirements or surplus cash in good time to support treasury management on a group basis.• Support operations in preparation of annual budget and monthly forecast.• Reviewing monthly bank reconciliations ensuring all payments and receipts are allocated in a timely manner• Oversee the recording of revenues and reconciliation between the property management system and financial ledgers (profit and loss and balance sheet)• Assists in documentation and monitoring of internal controls• To ensure the accurate and timely posting of the Monthly ADP Payroll, including the PAYE & NIC• Review and approve payment run• Responsible for the prompt return of all national statistics required by the government, i.e., Headcount, Monthly Turnover, monthly Payroll.
