7+ years experience in molecular modeling and simulations including 2+ years postdoctoral research experience in electrostatic modeling method developments and application, computational biology, computational biophysics and bioinformatics.We are interested in study of biomolecular interaction processes applying modeling and simulation building upon statistical mechanics concepts and molecular mechanics. The vast proteins sequence space maps to relatively very small structure space, studying to gain insight into these sequence to structure mappings to attempt answering biologically important queries are of our interest. Studying existing methods of predicting receptor-ligand/protein-protein binding free energy, understanding their strengths, limitations and further working to explore their suitability to varied use cases, identifying scopes for improvements, and further trying to improve on them are of interests.
