Client: Bombardier/ALSTOMThe European Train Control System (ETCS) is the signaling and control component of the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS). It is a replacement for legacy train protection systems and designed to replace the many incompatible safety systems currently used by European railways.ETCS is implemented with standard trackside equipment and unified controlling equipment within the train cab. In its advanced form, all lineside information is passed to the driver wirelessly inside the cab, removing the need for lineside signals watched by the driver. This will give the foundation for a later to be defined automatic train operation. Trackside equipment aims to exchange information with the vehicle for safely supervising train circulation. The information exchanged between track and trains can be either continuous or intermittent according to the ERTMS/ETCS level of application and to the nature of the information itself.

Bootloader – NVIDIA Graphics Pvt Ltd:This bootloader is called microboot loader. It is divided mainly in three sub programs. These three sub programs names are – MB1, MB2 , IST. This boot loader interacts with other programs as well.For example, it interacts with Tegra BootROM, Common crypto and other subprograms. It interacts with hardware and memory as well. Booting process starts with MB1, in this it checks for security of the data provided for booting. It interacts with Common Cypto Code for that purpose. And if MB1 is successful then control will go to either MB2 (For Coldboot) or IST depending on the condition. And if the execution does not detect any error, booting will be completed successful.

Now days, TCMS is highly recommended in trains to avoid many kinds of accidents and to make train journey safer. TCMS is the upper software layer which interacts with other subsystems of the train and takes decisions based on defined logics. In this, we have to interact with LV models and DDU to do a closed loop testing.

Client: Rolls-RoyceT1000 EEC (Electronic Engine Controller):An aircraft typically has an EEC (Electronic Engine Controller). EEC controls each and every functionality of the engine. It sets and manages engine parameter based on the other inputs and engine operating mode. EEC consists several modules. Each module takes care of some specific tasks. To control and manage the overall aircraft functionalities, modules have to communicate to other modules. This can be achieved with the help of boundary signals. Boundary signals and boundary values play a major role in the integration testing of all the modules. By using the tool ES-37, we test the requirements. ES-37 provides the facility to log and plot the variables which is very helpful in analyzing the parameter values.
